Functional Designer
afarax is looking for a freelance Functional Designer. We need you! Our client in the insurance sector, is seeking an experienced Functional Designer to strengthen their team. Main objectives Be in charge of translating business requirements into a structured IT solution while keeping a functional approach. Help translating this functional design into well-tailored technical design. Prepare functional integration test cases based on the requirements Test the product before delivery to the users Analyse potential corrective actions to be taken. Coordinate technical designers and programmers during implementation of functionalities. Work closely with the business to ensure the final solution fits their needs. Actively support the Project leaders in the project implementation. Is this you? Experience with Application Development of Administrative systems in an IT department Able to capture main topics in discussions with technical IT people Mastering of MS-Office tools Strong understanding of Source code Cobol MicroFocus and SQL server Web based Client/Server systems with MF back-end (Cobol MicroFocus / SQL server) Batch process experience Cobol MicroFocus / SQL server programming experience .NET ; SQL Functional analysis IT solution design on large scale projects Agile & Waterfall project methodology Architectural design How afarax supports you?
